Engagements
Includes up to an hour of shooting with me, an outfit change is included and encouraged, and you will receive a minimum of 75 photos in return through an online gallery to share, post, or print! This is shot in film + digital format. I'm available to touch base as needed, along with happily helping with the session planning process!

It's go time :) I will email you two weeks before your session. This is the perfect time to go over any changes so you can feel confident about your session details!

Finalizing details! I will send over your custom invoice and contract for your engagement session, elopement/wedding. Your date is not secured until the contract is signed, and the deposit is received!

Waiting for your album - I know, the anticipation of your gallery is real! You will receive a sneak peek of your gallery within a week of your session date and anywhere up to 6 weeks for an engagement session or up to 12 weeks for your wedding gallery. (This will be in your contract.)

You've got questions, I've got answers!
I recommend 9 months to 1 year in advance for weddings, and anywhere from 6 mo to a year for your engagement session for your save the dates or wedding website! Some couples don’t plan a wedding for an entire year which is totally fine, I’d love to discuss availability!
How far in advance should we book you?

I am officially offering video, and we are super excited about it over here at JÁ Photography. The video team is lead by my husband, Josh, and as a husband and wife team ,and I can say that I think we work pretty well with each other. We also love the excuse to work together whenever we possibly can!
Do you offer videography?
The biggest difference is the amount of time you will have during the day. The extra two hours between the 6 hour package and the 8 hour package will make you feel less rushed, and will give you those precious getting ready photos and even possibly your grand exit if you’re having one. The gold package is my most common option, and most couples who start off with the bronze package usually end up upgrading to that extra time!
What’s the difference between your bronze and gold package?
For all of my wedding, micro weddings, and elopements, I require only a $500 deposit to reserve your wedding day, with the rest of the payments paced out from the time of booking to the day of your wedding. I am always willing to work through payment plans!
What’s your deposit?
I currently use HoneyBook or Zelle for all payments. HoneyBook allows you to view your invoice and pay directly through your portal in accordance to your payment plan. If you need flexibility with your payments or payment method, don’t hesitate to discuss that with me!
What is your preferred method of payment?
Turnaround time fully depends on the package time, and time of season. Most elopement packages take 4-6 weeks, meanwhile the gold or platinum package can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks. You will always receive sneak peeks within a week of your wedding day! I am just as excited to send your wedding photos as you are to see them!
What’s your turnaround time for galleries?
Of course! This is my favorite way to get to know my couples, which is why I offer a discounted engagement session with all wedding packages! I started my journey with mostly engagement sessions, and although now the majority of my books are weddings, I still love to run around the city or mountains with my couples!
Do you offer engagement sessions?
I shoot lifestyle moments, whether you’re getting married, getting engaged, having a baby, or branding your business, I am your girl, and I am here to celebrate YOU.
Do you only shoot weddings?
This is a must! Most venues require a Certificate of Insurance anyways.
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely I do, and I LOVE IT. I repeat, I LOVE it. I am based in Denver, CO, but I’ve been to GA, TN, PA, IL, and soon WA because of my clients! My little family and I love road-trips and traveling anywhere new we possibly can, I’ll usually take a couple extra days to also enjoy the city I’m in! Some of my bucket list locations are but not limited to Cali, Oregon Coast, New York, Portugal, Italy, and Greece! Don’t hesitate to see if I’m available to travel to you!
Do you travel?
Travel up to 15 mi. From Denver is included for weddings and engagements. Further than 15 mi would potentially result in a small travel fee, and out of state travel fees are required unless stated other wise. Bucket list locations are more likely to be discounted or waived!
Is travel included in my wedding day package?
YES. This is included in all wedding packages because I truly believe that this is a very important part of the experience. Not only do we get to divide and conquer, but it’s amazing what multiple angles of the same moment can do for a gallery. I always hire a photographer that I can trust 1000% with giving me amazing photos, and that I work really well with!
Do you include a second shooter?
Where to start on this one... First, I would like to say that the gear does not make the photographer, it’s the skill, the style choice, and experience that makes the photographer! I did however outgrow my gear, and decided to upgrade to a Canon EOSR6 Mirrorless camera this year and I have not looked back since. My favorite lens is my trusted 24-70 mm, with my 50 mm at a close second. My husband loves his Sony, and we both have a back up camera just in case!
